The HTC Imagio — codenamed Whitehouse — is a touchscreen smartphone released by HTC and Verizon Wireless in late 2009. It is especially thin (about as much as an iPhone), but hosts a large 3.6” WVGA screen and a two-tone backplate boasting a 5MP autofocus camera. Included also is Wi-Fi connectivity, integrated GPS, and microSD storage expansion. Most neat about the HTC Imagio is that it is being touted as the first smartphone to incorporate V CAST Mobile TV. It’s a Flo TV-based live streaming service that offers 24/7, on-the-go access to digital cable programming from the following channels: CBS, Comedy Central, ESPN, Fox, MTV, NBC, and Nickelodeon. Keep in mind that a subscription is required to access the service.
