HTC S620
$320.00
Released September, 2006
The Pros:Fairly easy to upgrade to Windows 6.5. Durable design, can drop it in a puddle and it will work once it dries out. Good compatibility with different networks, can be used overseas.
The Cons:Over time it seems to get slower and slower until it locks up, need to pull the battery to recover it. Battery itself doesn't have more than a day of life in it. Volume control is in an awkward place, tend to hit it by accident.
The HTC S620 is a mid-range smartphone with quad-band 2G reception. It has a 2.4"-diagonal display with 65k colors, and uses a full QWERTY keypad and touch-sensitive navigation bar for one-handed use.
