Product Shot 1The HTC T-Mobile G1, known as the HTC Dream in America and the Era G1 in Poland, is a slider mobile smartphone released in 2008 as the first phone to feature the Google Android 1.0 operating system. Right off the bad, the G1 incorporates many features not available on the iPhone and iPhone 3G (prior to OS 3.0), such as multimedia messaging, copy/paste, Google Street View, and a better 3.2MP camera with auto focus. However, it lacks support for Microsoft Exchange, and it doesn’t include a headphone jack. It does however offer a large keyboard, support for 3G and WiFi, integration with Google apps, and access to online stores (Amazon) and video sites (YouTube).
