HTC X7501
$900.00
Released January, 2007
The Pros:Integrated WiFi. Bluetooth. 3G connectivity.
The Cons:Keyboard is cramped. Bulky and heavy. Weak speaker.
The HTC X7501 is a hand held computer that works as a phone second. It has a full QWERTY keyboard which is a little more cramped than a normal sized keyboard and a much larger display than any comparable phone.

It has Bluetooth to make the clunky phone a little more usable. Wi-fi is also integrated, along with a GPS system and a 3-megapixel camera. The GPS is made full use off with a little program called TeleNav, which has options such as Drive To, Search, Maps, and Traffic - making the GPS a lot more than just the emergency version that most phones have. Web browsing, document viewing and document editing are all very easy on the wide screen and the Windows Mobile 6 operating system. The HTC X7501 is an interesting integration of computer and phone, but it is a little too clunky for a phone and a little too cramped for a computer.
