i-mate SP3i-a

The i-mate SP3i-a is the North American release version of the SP3i. It is tri-band receptive and has a 65k-color screen at 2.2"-diagonal. It also has a five-way navigation key. It uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 SE and has a 200MHz processor.

It is supposed to be an entry-level 2G smartphone, and allows SMS, MMS, email and instant messaging, as well as Internet access via PocketIE. The SP3i-a also has an mp3 player and a miniSD card slot to expand its 32MB RAM, 64MB ROM memory. It has a VGA camera with video capture, downloadable mp3 and polyphonic ringtones, and T9 predictive text entry. Talk-time battery life is around 3.5 hours per charge. Other features include Bluetooth wireless, organizer, speakerphone and Java applications.
