Product Shot 1The LG IQ (Monaco) is a touchscreen smartphone featuring the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system. It was originally released in late 2009 by Telus Canada for their HSPA network. Among the features is a 1GHz SnapDragon processor, a 3.2” WVGA touchscreen display, and a compact QWERTY keyboard.

Signature to the Monaco is its built-in pocket projector bolted onto the back, which allows users to project videos directly onto a wall or screen. Included are LG apps (which critics hail as ‘cheesy’), the innovative S-Class cube interface, a GPS receiver, a fingerprint scanner, and an integrated 5MP camera.

Additional Information

The IQ was originally released in Canada for $99.99 with a contract. It works on the GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA range at 850/1900/2100MHz. It is expected to be released in the US by AT&T.
