The Palm Pixi is a forthcoming smartphone, expected in the holiday season of 2009. It has a very slim form factor (0.43" in thickness) and sleek design, with a full QWERTY keyboard and navigation pad above the keys, which registers gestures, as well as a touchscreen.

Product Shot 2 It uses Palm's webOS, and features like 8GB of onboard storage, a 2-megapixel camera with flash, and an emphasis on keeping track of contact information, messaging, and full-web browsing (not just the mobile versions of webpages). The Pixi is designed to connect to multiple user information services (e.g. Facebook, calendars, Microsoft Office or Outlook) and aggregate information into one calendar and contact book. It can use POP and IMAP email systems and has access to a variety of Palm apps. The Pixi will be released exclusively for Sprint in the United States. It will be available November 15th for $100 after a $50 instant rebate and a $100 mail in rebate on contract.
