Released November, 2010
The Pros:5 MP camera with Auto focus, Image stabilization, Flash and 2X Digital Zoom. BlackBerry 6 operating system. High resolution color display (480 x 360 pixels, 2.44 in diagonal measurement).
The Cons:Limited processor (624 MHhz) relative to other high end smart phones.
RIM's BlackBerry Bold 9780 is a forthcoming smartphone, by all accounts largely based on the current Bold 9700 model, and featuring a very similar form factor, keyboard, and optical trackpad. The main updates seem to be in the operating system, expected to be BlackBerry OS 6, as well as the WebKit browser that can play more multimedia formats.

Other updates include a larger camera resolution than the 9700 and twice the RAM. Most other standard BlackBerry features can be expected, and this model will definitely be 3G-compatible, and will have WiFi and GPS reception as well.
