Samsung Instinct s30 (SPH-m810)
$450.00
Released May, 2009
The Pros:Online apps such as Facebook are pretty easy to navigate. Battery lasts a long time, don't have to worry about it wearing down too quick. Photos look pretty good, sharp and clear with nice detail.
The Cons:Texting is difficult, on-screen keyboard is hard to work with. Takes some time to learn all the functions and where everything is kept - overly complicated. Prone to occasional lock-ups, need to press "End" and try again.
The Samsung Instinct s30 (SPH-m810) is a PDA smartphone released in 2009 as an upgrade from the original Sprint Instinct. It features the same basic shape and size, but it’s slightly slimmer and a little less boxy-looking.

Included is a larger 3.2” touchscreen display, the exact same QWERTY keyboard and virtual dialpad, and a left-fitted microSD memory card slot. Newly added features that can’t be found on the original Instinct include an Opera 4.2 browser, integrated instant messaging & contacts syncing, and video playback/recording. Surprisingly, the SPH-m810 downgrades from full 3G (EV-DO Rev. A) to EV-DO Rev. 0, meaning reduced data speeds. But, critics laud the s30’s dual-band CDMA 800/1900 connection for delivering improved call quality.
