Samsung Jack (SGH-i637)
$330.00
Released June, 2009
The Pros:Layout of the phone is logical and easy to work with. Keys have a nice feel to them, solid and responsive. Relatively lightweight build, won't feel bulky in your jacket pocket.
The Cons:Battery is drained daily, always needs to be charged at night. Plug covers aren't very secure, tend to hang a little loose. Needs a free download called Smart Toolkit to provide the easier user interface - can seem confusing without it.
The Samsung Jack (SGH-i637) is an entry-level PDA smartphone released by AT&T Wireless in mid 2009. It features quad-band GSM and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA for strong reception in cosmopolitan areas, but many users have complained about poor reception in rural areas.

Plus, the phone’s 3G sometimes switches to EDGE, which greatly hampers the downloading and streaming of large multimedia files. What critics do laud, however, is the phone’s Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, which works fast enough for a user to run multiple programs in the background. Additional features include AT&T Mall, AT&T Navigator AT&T Music, AT&T Video, AT&T Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Microsoft Office Mobile Suite.
