Samsung Saga (SCH-i770)
$450.00
Released November, 2008
The Pros:Can take it anywhere in the world and make calls. Full QWERTY keyboard, really easy to work with. WiFi connects right away, gets a pretty fast connection for web surfing.
The Cons:Can be a bit sluggish, prone to lag. Call quality is a little washed out, person on the other end sounds really far away. Doesn't support international 3G bands.
The Samsung Saga (SCH-i770) is a PDA smartphone released by Verizon Wireless in November 2008. It joins the ranks of other smartphones like the RIM BlackBerry by incorporating worldwide functionality. It even includes a dual-mode function so that users can switch between CDMA and GSM networks for seamless international roaming.

As for input, the Saga builds from its competitors by incorporating a touchscreen display plus a QWERTY keyboard and an optical mouse, but it does lack haptic feedback. Additionally, the Saga runs on Verizon’s fast EV-DO Rev. A network, but it offers zero support for international HSPDA bands, which means no 3G coverage in non-covered countries.
