The T-Mobile myTouch by LG is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread based smart phone releasing just before Christmas 2011 in the U.S. along with a QWERTY slider version called the myTouch Q. These have been designed for first time smart phone users and offer a simple set up and you have the choice of 3.8 inch touch screen with Swype in this model, or a 3.5" touch screen with added horizontal slider QWERTY keyboard in the myTouch Q.

New smart phone users will benefit from added features like the Set-Up Wizard, which will guide you through setting up email and social networking, Tips Widget, a how-to wiki containing instructional videos and a list of device features, and the Genius Button, whereby using simple voice commands you can quickly call, text or search the web. Some apps have been included like T-Mobile TV in Mobile HD, Netflix and Youtube, and it runs on the 4G network(check the company website listed at right for coverage area). On the hardware side there is a 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 5 megapixel camera with 720p video recording and another front facing camera with access to T-Mobile video chat. Two color options are available for each model with this one in either black or white and the myTouch Q in gray or violet.
